<b>Hellenikon Idyllion is a holiday and meeting centre for the culturally and artistically minded; where the mind, body and soul combine in harmony with nature.  </b></br><br />
<b>Paradise</b><br />
Situated directly on the beachfront of a typical Greek village Selianitika – we are at a the quaint village on the north coast of the Peloponnes.  Our large grounds (4000 m˛) have beautiful flowers, trees, lovely vine-covered pergolas, orchards and a vegetable garden. There are villa apartments and bungalows for individuals and  families, as well as for groups of up to 100 people - choirs, orchestras, drama groups, school classes etc. - all are welcome! </br><br />
<b>For the eyes and the senses ...</b><br />
Our orchard is filled with fruit trees bearing oranges, lemons, grapefruits, figs, pomegranates and olives.  Grape vines twist around our marquee and produce up to 10 different types of grapes.  These fruits are completely organic and free from chemicals or anything artificial, and all guests are welcome to enjoy the fruits.<br />
The smell of jasmine, roses and other flowers drift on to the balconies and patios.  <br />
Birds build their nests in the branches of the big silver poplars, which rustle in the wind and provide welcoming shade in the summertime.<br />
All these relaxing beauties can be appreciated at different points in our garden on our garden swings. </br><br />
<b>For the spirit...</b><br />
All through the year we offer sophisticated cultural and artistic programmes which include courses in various instruments, orchestra, chamber and choir music, singing, dancing, theatre, painting, archaeology, antique Greek philosophy and literature as well as classical and modern Greek. For rehearsals and concerts there is a grand piano (Schimmel) in a glass pavilion. Other rooms with pianos, cellos, contrabasses - even a set of drums -  are also available for you to use. In the garden you will find both a covered and an open-air stage for concerts, theatre productions and dance performances. A library with journals, music and books with a cultural tenor adjoins a communal room with a  television and a large fireplace for cosy winter evenings. We are happy to help you  organise your concerts and performances.<br />
For those who want to broaden their horizons and learn about Greek culture e can organise trip to historical Greek sites that we are we are close to such as Olympia, Corinth, Delphi and Epidaurus.</br><br />
<b>For families with children and for individuals...</b><br />
All our apartments and bungalows provide fully equipped kitchens. Hellenikon Idyllion is perfect for children, we have table tennis, large garden to play and  many garden swings in the open air.  This year we are starting a new “Kinderclub©”that offers children art activities, allowing them to be creative and learn about Greek culture in a fun and exciting way, while parents can relax. <br />
Greek speciality foods are prepared with the stone oven and enjoyed with music and dancing.  The concerts, the beach and the village Selianitika at the doorstep offer a lot of fun and a  wonderful atmosphere.  There are many taverns by the sea where you can enjoy lunch in the sun with the view of the sea or have a relaxed evening in the warm summer nights.<br />
In wintertime we offer walks and excursions -for groups and individuals- with well-prepared descriptions of routes and transfers. The central position of Selianitika makes it possible to get nearly everywhere by train, bus or ferry.</br><br />
