free accomodation from november to march!
Hellenikon Idyllion is interested in promoting activities in classical music during the winter (november to first days of march) on the Peloponnes. Therefore we provide a two- and- a-half-room appartment for chamber music ensembles, which spend one to three weeks working here. You only need to pay for heating (elektr.), food and journey there and return journey.
We organize concerts for you and should the occasion arrise excursions. We will try to organize your concerts in a way that it will lower the expense of your trip. 

At Hellenikon Idyllion, a garden of the muses in the heart of the classical Greece, you can combine work with vacation. Besides your performances you can visit classical greec places - like Olympia, Epidaurus, Mykene or the Akropolis in Athens - in one-day trips.

possible journey for small groups from  southern Germany, Switzerland or Austria:

with zour car to Ancona/Italien: duration: 8-10 hours
with a ferry Ancona – Patras: duration: 19 hours
         returnticket (dec. 01) for each person:
         ca. 110Euro (place on deck inside)
         ca. 135 Euro ("airplaneseat" inside)
         ca. 170 Euro (berth)
car + return:
         ca. 130 Euro
(Ferry Bari – Patras: perperson 30% less, car 50% less)
with car Patras – Selianitika: duration: 30 minutes

For everybody, who likes to be independent, we offer the following service:
Tell us which instrument you are playing, and about your motivation (as a hobby or professionel), and when it is possible for you. We will pass along your suggestion to kindred spirits, who like to play in an ensemble es well. That way  you can meet here and enjoy a creative exchange with pleasure.
