    train,ferry or aeroplane  (20.1.2008)

    1) car/bus/train – ferry

A good recommendation for all travellers - singles, families and groups -  is to travel to an Italian port by car, train or bus and from there to                                                                                    take the ferry across to Greece. Ferries leave from Venice, Ancona, Bari or Brindisi for Patras everyday.                                                                                                                                          For example, the passage takes 19 hours from Ancona and a return-ticket costs 60.- Euros per person (students: ca. 50.- Euros).                                                                                                      For further information click to www.blueferries.gr, www.minoan.gr or www.anek.gr or www.superfast.gr.
